Private Lumbini Tour from Kathmandu – 3 Days
Visit Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha, with a private guide and car from Kathmandu.
Overview
Lumbini, in southern Nepal, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the birthplace of the Buddha. This private three-day tour takes one to three travellers there from Kathmandu with a private guide and a private car with a driver. Day one is the drive to Lumbini, which takes about seven to eight hours. Day two is a full day in the sacred garden: the Ashoka Pillar, the Maya Devi Temple and the Puskarini pond. Day three is the drive back. The road can be slow and rough in places, so travellers who prefer to save time can ask us about a flight between Kathmandu and Bhairahawa instead.
