Private Kathmandu, Chitwan & Pokhara Tour – 6 Days
Six days with your own guide and car: Kathmandu's UNESCO sites, a jungle safari in Chitwan and the lakes of Pokhara.
Overview
This private tour joins Nepal's three best-known areas in one trip: the heritage sites of Kathmandu, the wildlife of Chitwan National Park and the lakeside town of Pokhara. It is run for one or two travellers with a private guide and a private car with an experienced driver, so you set the pace. You begin with a day among Kathmandu's UNESCO World Heritage monuments. Then you drive to Chitwan for a jeep safari, a canoe ride on the Rapti River, birdwatching and an evening Tharu cultural dance. Next you travel on to Pokhara for the lake, Sarangkot viewpoint, temples, waterfalls and caves, before the drive back to Kathmandu. The road days are long, between six and nine hours, so we recommend an early start each day.
