Pokhara Sarangkot Sunrise & Peace Pagoda Tour
Sunrise over the Annapurna range from Sarangkot, then a boat ride to the World Peace Pagoda.
Overview
Sarangkot, a hilltop above Pokhara, has one of the best sunrise views in Nepal. As the light comes up you can see Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and the sharp peak of Machapuchare, with Phewa Lake and the valley below. After breakfast we drive back down, cross Phewa Lake by boat and walk up to the World Peace Pagoda, a white Buddhist stupa with views across the lake and the mountains. It is an easy half-day tour for families and first-time visitors.
