Kathmandu UNESCO World Heritage Day Tour
See all seven World Heritage Sites of the Kathmandu Valley in one day with a local guide.
Overview
The Kathmandu Valley holds seven UNESCO World Heritage monument zones within a few kilometres of each other. This full-day tour links them with a private vehicle and a licensed local guide who explains what you are seeing, from living Hindu temples to ancient Newar palace squares. You will start at the hilltop Swayambhunath stupa, walk through Kathmandu Durbar Square, cross to Patan's carved courtyards, and finish in the medieval brick city of Bhaktapur. Between stops there is time for tea, photos and a local lunch. It is a long day, so we keep a steady pace and can skip one stop if you prefer to go slower.
